1. Who we are

DueClock is a smart expiry reminder service operated at DueClock.com. We help small businesses and freelancers track important expiry dates for contracts, insurance, licenses, and certificates.

2. Data we collect

We collect only what's necessary to provide the reminder service:

  • Item name, type, and expiry date (the reminder details you enter)
  • Email address (to send your reminder notification)
  • Country and currency (detected from your IP address for pricing)
  • Payment information (processed securely by Stripe — we never see your card details)
  • Account credentials (email and hashed password, if you create an account)

3. How we use your data

  • To send your scheduled reminder notification
  • To process your payment via Stripe
  • To display your reminders in your account dashboard
  • To improve the service (anonymised analytics only)

4. Data retention

We retain reminder data for up to 12 months after the expiry date. Account data is retained until you delete your account. You may request deletion at any time by emailing privacy@dueclock.com.

5. Third parties

  • Stripe — payment processing (subject to Stripe's privacy policy)
  • Resend — email delivery service
  • Convex — secure database hosting
  • ipapi.co — anonymous IP geolocation for currency detection

6. Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA) or UK, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction or deletion of your data
  • Object to processing or request restriction
  • Data portability
  • Lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority
